Manny Crespo held many roles in Professional Baseball. He was born and raised in Miami and attended the University of Miami and studied sociology and philosophy. He was National Champion at Westminster Christian in 1996; a two time All American member of the 1997 USA team; two time All American National Champion of 1999 USA team; played professional baseball for parts of 3 years with Seattle, Boston, and Toronto; drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 12th round of the 1997 MLB June Amateur Draft from Westminster Christian (Miami, FL) and the Seattle Mariners in the 14th round of the 2000 MLB June Amateur Draft from University of Miami (Coral Gables, FL); coached professionally with the San Diego Padres as hitting instructor; and is currently coaching at Gulliver.
Manny’s father has been in pro ball for over 30 years and is currently the Director of Latin America with the Detroit Tigers.
