Richard Kuhns, B.S., Ch.E.
Richard Kuhns began his career in chemical engineering before pivoting to human behavior and wellness. In the late 1970s, he founded a hypnosis and stress management center, where for 18 years he worked with thousands of individuals and groups to stop smoking, manage weight, overcome fears and phobias, build self‑esteem, and reduce stress through biofeedback.
Drawing on his analytical engineering background, Richard developed unconventional insights into emotional health and resilience. He has authored several books that challenge conventional thinking and offer practical solutions:
- My Dog Got Run Over by a Rainbow – on building authentic self‑esteem
- The Scale Conspiracy – on managing emotions to achieve sustainable weight loss
- How to Cure Anxiety and Panic Attacks Naturally – reframing agoraphobia and panic as conditions of misunderstanding
- How to Prosper with the Power of God on Your Side – exploring religion, belief, and personal empowerment
- How to Get Your Life Back from Morgellons and Other Skin Parasites and Lyme Disease Doesn’t Have to Own You Anymore – pioneering approaches to misunderstood conditions
Richard’s personal battle with Morgellons disease led him to develop a dietary protocol so unconventional that it excludes even traditionally “healthy” foods such as carrots, beets, olive oil, and most fruits. This radical approach has helped hundreds reclaim their lives, offering hope where conventional medicine has struggled. In 2014, he advanced his work further by creating innovative skin care products featuring a proprietary bio‑form carbon ingredient designed to not only cleanse pores, but also the cells inside the pores at the cellular level.
Beyond health and wellness, Richard engages audiences with his popular TikTok series Zen for the Day and Relationship Killers, blending humor and insight. He is also the inventor and manufacturer of Waterloov, a patented gutter guard system recognized for its effectiveness.
Richard Kuhns brings a rare combination of scientific rigor, personal experience, and practical innovation—making him a compelling voice on topics ranging from mental health and wellness to spirituality, science, and consumer innovation.
