ABOUT MARY KEENE:
Mary Keene is a veteran of radio broadcasting in Pennsylvania and New York. She was the soothing voice of a radiothon relief effort during the Johnstown flood of 1975 and presented continuing radio shows and interviews for the arts as well as production for TV. An inveterate community organizer she established the Laurel Arts Festival, developed community arts programs in two states, appointed by the Governor, she served on the Council on the Arts in Pennsylvania, and founded and administered a kindergarten in Vermont that was later incorporated into the school system. She has been active as a performing musician as a piano accompanist and as a chamber music performer both on the violin and viola. In 1986 Mary and her husband, Jim, founded Glenbridge Publishing Ltd.
