Please join Internet radio host Dr. James Avington Miller Jr. as he asks the question - What if we had a shared vision and mission for public education - K to PhD? This is an invitation to come together and imagine just how good our schools could be for our children, our teachers, and our communities if we, and not the outsiders, created a shared vision and mission. What would it look like? What should it look like? What if the vision would be determined by schools, administrators, teachers, students, parents, communities, and states/governments who would all participate, create, and share a true democratic engagement for the PUBLIC GOOD? What would teacher prep, teaching, curriculum, pedagogy, school culture, and students be like? What would the teaching and learning experience be? Could our vision for public education create an environment that promotes positive development for all children, youth, teens, and young adults that insists on their well-being, democratic citizenship and life-long engagement in our society? To our audience - what is your vision? Do you have a vision? Is there someone else who is imposing their vision on you?  Please call in Sunday and join this very important and inspiring conversation.
