It's like I want to say to the electorate, "You mean it? This is what we want to lead us?"
That's why tonight's phrase of the week "Do You Mean It," raises the question.
Also, ever notice how "mean" can refer to "meaning" or just being "mean?"
Looking at what we really mean when we say certain things. Like, when our President-Elect says global warming is a hoax or "I'm open to it,"which do you mean, Donald?
Like what do you mean when you select 3 generals and 3 executives from Goldman-Sachs to be in the presidential cabinet?
And on the other side, as I study and ponder the principles of spiritual living, I also want to ask, "Do you mean it?"
For instance, when I read from the Urantia Book, "A lasting social system without a morality predicated on spiritual realities can no be maintained than the solar system without gravity." Do you mean it?
