I am issuing this statement to legal counsel, the public and diplomatic human rights observers.

As of today, I have been falsely categorized by the Government of Canada "covid" authorities as having returned to the country recently, and therefore have been ordered to isolate and quarantine for 14 days. I received this notification this morning by email.

Here are the facts:

1. I have not returned to Canada since December 14, 2020, after which I successfully quarantined without incident and was released from that condition on December 29, 2020.
