Leah Cecil, a native to Orange County, has been playing the harp since her young teen years. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Music from Cal State Fullerton.

Leah has been acclaimed as one of Orange County’s outstanding young musicians as well as an award-winning artist and servant to community needs. As Miss California 2012, Leah traveled all over California, the United States, and the world as a speaker, an ambassador, and a harpist. Her passion for her platform “Compassion for the Convalescing” has given her opportunities to serve in the community as a Compassionate Harpist.

She has partnered with the Southern California Hospice Foundation in order to further more service to patients in need of comfort.

Leah makes a living as a freelance harpist as well, playing at weddings, receptions, and other special events in both Orange and Los Angeles County. Leah regularly performs as Principal Harpist for the Orange County Millennial Choirs & Orchestras group at the Segerstrom Concert Hall. She also performed as the featured harpist at Donald Trump’s glamorous Mar-a-Lago Club for a private celebrity event.

Leah was featured in a “Glee” episode, a Taco Bell commercial, and is also heard on the 30th Anniversary album for Mariachi Sol De Mexico, featuring Jose Hernandez. Leah also recently performed with Shahkar Bineshpajooh & Andrea Bocelli at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, CA.

In 2013, Leah was invited by the city of Garden Grove, California, of which she was a resident, as Artistic Ambassador to perform at a concert in Anyang, South Korea, for Anyang’s 12th Citizens Festival of Peace and Freedom. The Festival was celebrating Anyang’s 40th Anniversary. Anyang was declared a Sister-City with Garden Grove in 1989 to promote and foster understanding between the two city’s cultures through education and exchange
