Our guest is Karen Gray Houston, Journalist, Author of 'DAUGHTER OF THE BOYCOTT: Carrying On A Montgomery Family’s Civil Rights Legacy' - she tells her story!  Karen had a front row seat to the civil rights movement in the south. Her father and uncle played a significant role in the movement, along with people such as Rosa Parks and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.. Maria and I are anxious to discuss with Ms. Gray Houston her experiences, her fascinating new book and what lessons we can learn from the civil rights movement in our struggle for statehood.
