Title: S2 EP24 | Re-Sensitizing America After The Sandy Hook Massacre | Stephanie Cinque

Sometimes people rise to the occasion after tragedy. Stephanie Cinque felt called to help her community after the Sandy Hook Shooting by creating The Resiliency Center of Newtown. She is a social worker who saw her neighbors suffering a traumatized and knew that she needed to bring the community together. She found a place, hired mental health professionals and provided a safe place for survivors to be healed.

Bring tissues to listen to Stephanie's story. You will be moved by her courage, determination, wisdom and grace. In the 12 years since the shooting, unfortunately, she has been able to help other communities recover after shootings. She is determined to spread awareness in how to heal, but more importantly, in how to prevent future shootings.

Stephanie is educating others with how to heal our mental health crisis, recognize signs that could prevent other shootings, and teaching people not to worry alone. Isolation is a health hazard. She teaches people how and where to reach out for health.
