Taking with Ron with Ron Collins

Guest, Terry Gross, better known as Comedian GrossMann

In this episode of Talking with Ron, host Ron broadcasts live while traveling to a major comedy event, celebrating the show's milestone of 3 million listeners. This episode explores the deep-rooted philosophy of "family" within the community, highlights charitable advocacy for children and workers, and features a high-energy interview with Comedian Grossman.

The Philosophy of the "People's Show"
Ron emphasizes that "Talking with Ron" is more than a podcast; it is a movement built on the foundation of "sharing and caring." He defines family not by blood, but by a shared mindset and mutual support, noting that strangers often provide more encouragement than relatives. He shares a touching example of families from London and Chicago who connected via the show and are now planning a meetup. Ron also touches on modern parenting, questioning the "old school" vs. "new age" dynamics of children influencing household decisions, ultimately advocating for a community feel where neighbors help one another.

Social Advocacy and Charitable Causes
A significant portion of the broadcast is dedicated to the importance of giving back. Ron identifies St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital as the show's primary cause, praising their commitment to treating children free of charge. Furthermore, he issues a heartfelt "hats off" to TSA workers across the United States who continue to work without guaranteed pay during difficult times. He encourages his "family" of listeners to offer small gestures of support, such as a single dollar or a kind word, noting that what seems small to one person can be life-changing for another.

Guest Spotlight: Comedian Grossman
Despite technical hurdles while traveling through Dallas traffic, Comedian Grossman joins the show to discuss his meteoric rise. He announces two upcoming shows, "Can You Make Me Laugh?" and "So You Think You Funny," set to debut on Amazon and Tubi this May. Grossman also highlights his film work in "Double Cup" and "Dirty Third: The Next Generation." Ron, who has worked with Grossman for years, vouches for his talent and urges the audience to support his "Grossman Uncut" YouTube channel and his Beaumont comedy spot.

Growth and Future Operations
The show has transitioned from a local program to a nationally syndicated, global platform on the BBS Radio and TV Network. Due to this expansion, Ron is looking to grow his team following the departure of a key staff member, Jennifer. He invites listeners with marketing and advertising experience to join the movement, emphasizing that the show's success belongs to the listeners who "saw the vision and ran with it".

This episode serves as a powerful reminder that "Talking with Ron" is a community-driven force. From supporting St. Jude's to celebrating the success of Comedian Grossman, the message remains consistent: "Each one, reach one, teach one." As the show continues its global expansion, the focus remains firmly on the "family" of three million listeners who make the movement possible.

[00:00] Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. Get. Woo. Yeah. Speaker<|agent|><|en|> Yeah. Get. Woo. Yeah. Yeah, that's me. K, k, you're listening to Talking with Ron, only here on BBS- Woo. ... Radio TV. Oh. Come on, come on. Yeah. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Come on, come on, come on, come on. Yeah

[00:26] Speaker 2: Good afternoon. Good afternoon, everybody. Man, I'm excited. This is a great day. I'm excited about it. I'm excited we're moving. We're traveling. Listen, I love it. Listen, I would never let my listeners down. We're traveling. It's rough, but hey, we're doing it. We're doing it. Great show prepared for today. We got a great guest who's gonna be on here. He'll join us in a little while. He's actually traveling himself. We all in the traveling setting today. We all moving and traveling. Listen, I wanna thank everyone once again for joining us, uh, joining us and, and, and being a part of this great show and this great movement that we have, Talking with Ron. I wanna thank everybody. Uh, y'all tune in week in, week out. We appreciate it. We love you. We thank you for it. Uh, listen. I know you guys have been asking, um, you've been asking about the cards, huh. The cards are finally on the way. They, they were in production and, and it takes a minute.

[01:14] Speaker 2: It takes a minute with that, that type of stuff, um, to get them set and registered and ready, and, and all those great things. I know... was like, "We want our cards." So I appreciate that love on that. Um, the cards are coming. The cards are on the way. Um, we do have the cards coming on. We, we talked earlier this week to, uh, the production people. They are coming. Uh, we should have them, uh, by next week for sure, or the end of next week, or the beginning of the following week. Listen, we are traveling. Um, we're, we're traveling and, and we're traveling 'cause we like to come out. We like to be out. We like to be around you guys. Um, hey, I love it. My people don't play about me. Uh, I saw the thing on... I was in the hotel earlier this week. Uh, and I, and I saw the thing, uh, Keisha brought it to my attention 'cause I wasn't online at first. Uh, and she told me, "Get online." Listen, I, I... Hey, all my people, I, I appreciate you. My family.

[02:02] Speaker 2: We're not, we're not people, and I shouldn't say it like... My family. I appreciate the love. Man, y'all stand up for me on any point, anytime. Um, you know, I, I appreciate that. I appreciate y'all standing up, being there, uh, uh, uh, being a part of the family. Um, anything goes on, y'all there, and I appreciate that. I really do. Listen, it's been a, it's been a great week, great week. All together, all around. I know some people are traveling themselves, um, doing, uh, spring break and, and, um, um, uh, all these great things going on with spring break. I know some of y'all are traveling and, and doing... Hey, stay safe. That's the main thing. We want you to stay safe, um, no matter what. We want you to stay safe, uh, have a good time, enjoy yourself. Um, that's what it... That's what it's all about. Good people enjoying themselves, good families enjoying themselves. Listen, y'all gotta invite me to some of these places.

[02:49] Speaker 2: I've been hearing, uh, when I get online and I hear y'all be talking to them, y'all gotta invite me to some of these places. I would love to come. You know, we can't just wait till, till the Family Day. I would love to come. I would love to come out and, and meet you guys, uh, and see you guys. I, I wanna be a part of what you a part of, so y'all gotta invite me. Um, Ms. Netty, I wanna say it again, I said it last week. Thank you so much for the offer of the, uh, sweet potato pies. Listen, I... That's my favorite. Ms. Netty said she was gonna make them, uh, and, and she reached out to Keisha and she said, uh, "Let him know I got the pies whenever he ready." So I appreciate that, Ms. Netty, um, faithful listener. Thank you so much, ma'am. I, I appreciate that. Uh, the, the sweet potato pies is my favorite thing. Uh, listen. I, I... It was something that, that sparked my attention earlier during the week, um, about, um, people with their kids, um. And I...

[03:39] Speaker 2: And I just wanna propose that question to, to you guys. Um, do you think, uh, at any point in time that your kids or, uh, should tell you, uh, what you should do or where you should go, um, when it's time to, to, to raise up and branch out to certain things or doing certain things? Um, I, I heard that. That came to me. Uh, a lady said, um, her kids, uh, they, they said where they wanted to go and not foot, one cent of the bill. Um, and she was in a debate, um, taking them there or, or spending the type of money for that, um, situation. And, and I'm just... I'm just curious about that. Do you do that with your kids? Um, do you do that with your kids or, you know, are you... are you parents that say, "Hey, you know, no. We're gonna have a good time, but we're gonna go where I say I wanna go and what I, I wanna do?" Um, you know, that, that type of situation. Um, so, you know, that... I, I was just curious about that. You guys, uh, tell me what you think about that.

[04:35] Speaker 2: And, and I know I'm old school and, you know, where, where you always... Your kids didn't tell you what to do. Uh, you know, you, you, you gave them the option, "Do it or else." Uh, and that's, and that's where I'm old school and originated from. But listen. Hey, it's a new day and age. Kids kind of do things a little different. People do things a little different now. And that's, that's a whole big setting, um, of how things operate and how things are done. Uh, but, you know, hey, it's, it's a new... It's a new day and age. Uh, it's a new day and age, d- different settings, uh, with people and how they go. Um, and, you know, with so much going on in the world, um, right now, with, with, with these wars and, and, and, and the things that are going on in the collaboration. So, hey, we need a day, right? We need a family day. We need a day, and that's coming up in July.

[05:22] Speaker 2: A family day where we can all get together and enjoy ourself, relax from the, the stress and the relief of, of everything that's going on. Listen. I've been traveling. Um, no sleep, as you can see. We still traveling. We're on the way to an event now. Uh, we're, we're traveling. We're moving. But, you know, I love it. I wouldn't trade it for the world, because I love being out. I love being around the people, um, because this is a people show. Um, it's... Even though it's named Talking with Ron, uh, it's, it's the pe- it's the people show. So that's what we like. That's what we want. That's what we want. We want, um, um, we want those type thing. Listen. I don't know if our guest is on yet. We got a very special guest coming on the show. I don't know if he is on or not. I know, like I said, he's in the mix of traveling also, so I don't know if he's made it. Uh, if he's made it, um, not yet. Uh, our guest ain't made it yet.Um, y'all, y'all gotta hear this guy.

[06:17] Speaker 2: He's, he's, he's, he's extraordinary. I'm not gonna give it to him until he comes on, um, you know. But he's, he's still traveling. Um, he's traveling, he's moving himself. Uh, he has a, a big event. So, um, once he comes on, we gonna put him on. Hopefully, he'll, he'll be able to get... I know he's in, in travel. We, we spoke earlier. Uh, so hopefully he'll be able to get to the point of where he is and, and, and he can go ahead and jump on. Um, it's tight for everybody, but listen, that, that's, that's great. That's not a problem. That's, that's great. But, uh, one, one great thing I do want to say about, um, all of the things that we have been doing and accomplishing, we cannot do it without you guys. You guys make that happen, and we're so proud of that. We're proud of the people who share what we share, want to share what we share, want to be like-minded like we are. We're so proud of that. That makes a, a, a, a great difference. It warms my heart.

[07:07] Speaker 2: But I, I, like I said when, when I wasn't online and Keisha told me, "Hey, you gotta jump online and see this," I really appreciate, uh, you guys last, uh, this week. Um, like I said, I was (laughs) I was just relaxing and, and, and she said, "Man, listen, your people, somebody said something and your people just, they went all the way in, all the way in." So, appreciate that. I appreciate that love. I appreciate the fact that you guys, uh, stand up, um, for me, 'cause I would stand up for you, uh, at any point in time, and I do, because I think this is what a family's about. A family's about sharing and caring, and that's what we're about on this show. Sharing and caring. Um, you know, too many times, we wanna do, uh, overlook and say, "It's not my problem," or it's, you know, "I don't really care," or laugh at someone or, you know, just simply take, take a moment and, and, and, and go on somebody else's downfall. You know, somebody else's downfall is nothing to be proud of.

[07:58] Speaker 2: It should be a moment where we as people, uh, and great people, should be sitting there saying, "Let's help. How can we help someone else get back up?" And that's what we like about this show. Um, I, I've, I've heard people say and, and reach out and say, "Hey, what can we do?" Uh, "What's your cause, um, that you, you, you like and we're gonna contribute to it." Appreciate all of that. I really, really, truly do. Uh, I, I appreciate all of that far as you guys, uh, wanting to contribute, uh, wanna help. Um, you know, I can say right now, we, we, our cause is, um, St. Jude's, uh, Hospital, um, and, and anything helping the kids. Um, not to say that adults don't need it, but that's our cause right now, is, is helping, um, the kids, remember? 'Cause the children are our future, and that's what we need. We need our future. We need our kids, uh, strong and healthy and, and anybody ever been to a, uh, Children's Hospital or, or St. Jude's, you know the great work those people do.

[08:52] Speaker 2: And all I must mention it, is by free. You know, no charge at all. Not one single penny, not one single dime. So, that's my cause, um, that's my cause. Uh, that's my cause to it, is, is, is, is, is those, um, is those, those shows. That's my cause. That's, that's what I wanna do. And, and that's where I always contribute and put the heart to, is, is, is those things. Um, so, but, you know, I, I just wanna say this, um, to all of you guys I, I appreciate the, the, um, the, the fact that y'all have helped, um, y'all have helped, um, wanted to help, help, um, with some of the people helping to want to, uh, do the volunteering at the, um, Family Day. I appreciate that too. That, that i- that warms my heart. Um, these, the people behind the scenes that, you know, don't get much credit, and I try to talk about them as much as I can, um, they're, they're doing a tremendous job, um, putting this together. Um, every, you know, we're running into a few little hiccups, but that's okay.

[09:51] Speaker 2: That's okay. Look, every- everything has, has a moment or issue, but we fight through it. We keep going. Um, but it's all about for you guys. It's, it's all about for the people. One big family, one united, and, and as you know, every single guest we have had on this show has been, been one united, you know. We've had different guests on here, um, all color, creed, you know, we've had them all on here and that's because we are a people show. Uh, a lot of times people ask me when they see me, "Well, you know, what's your show, what's your show is about?" It's about people. Um, it's about hard, honest, working people, uh, people who just wanna help, people who wanna contribute. You know, that's what this show is about. Um, helping people.

[10:31] Speaker 2: Um, you know, so many, uh, we're in a world right now where we live where people simply, you know, they, they can't, they can't function, um, and, and, and talking about somebody or not helping somebody or not helping your neighbor, you know, that's, you know, it's bad And, and most people don't know their neighbors nowadays, you know, that's, you know, that's something, but we're trying to bring that back. We wanna bring that back, that community feel, that family feel. Um, I found out, uh, two weeks ago, and I wasn't gonna mention it, but, uh, I found out two weeks ago, there was some, uh, family in London, I won't mention their name, um, they, they connected, uh, through this, through this platform, uh, with a family in Chicago. Uh, and they're now friends. Uh, they're looking to meet in July, um, for the Family Day. So listen, that's, that's what it's all about.

[11:17] Speaker 2: They, they've made their plans and, and they're, they're, they're two families that have came together and they're now friends and they're gonna meet, uh, in, in July at the family, um, day function. They're gonna meet. They're planning to meet. So, that's what it's all about, you know? All across the world, people get together and meet, uh, and then you have an extended family. So, whenever you're in their city or that town, you have an extended family. Uh, I know I've been invited (laughs) to a lot of places. Man, I would be on planes 24/7 if I had to go everywhere, uh, that, that you guys go, uh, and invite me to, but I can't. You know, I lo- uh, listen, that don't mean stop inviting me, because I will, I will eventually get there. I will eventually get somewhere, somewhere, um, but don't stop inviting me. I love it.

[12:01] Speaker 2: I, I appreciate you guys and I appreciate everybody who always say, "Listen, how can we contribute?" Uh, "How can we stay a part of this?" And, and even like I said earlier, the people who said, you know, um, you know, "What's your, what's your charity?" Or, "What you, what you deal with? We wanna contribute to that. Um, we wanna help make a difference." And I appreciate that. I do. I honestly, from the bottom of my heart, appreciate that. I appreciate that love. I appreciate that sharing. Um, you know, I, I remember a while back, uh, my kid was running, um, one of my sons was running for a, uh, a track, uh, out of..... state. And I made a, a comment to, to say, come out and support him. And overwhelmingly, there was a large amount of people that came out, people he didn't even know, and people who didn't know him. They had never seen him. And, and, and to support him, man, that was a great feeling. But that's what family does, support, um, be there.

[12:50] Speaker 2: And I appreciate you guys, uh, being a family and being there. Um, listen, we get tired. We get tired. I'm not gonna say that, you guys. We get tired, we get weary, but we're never gonna stop this, you know. Like I said on last week, you know, we're God-blessed, we're God-driven, and we're gonna keep spreading this thing, um, you know. But we, we ain't gonna... We're not gonna stop this. Uh, we're not a politics show. We're not a religion show. We are a show with simply the people. It doesn't matter who you are, where you are, we're just simply the people. And that's what this show is. And all of you guys are sharing, sharing on this. All of you guys want this. So, you know, that's the great part about what we're doing, you know. And like I said, I don't let my... I don't let you guys down. I love you guys. I don't let you down 'cause I'm... Every time y'all around, I'm with it. I'm here. Uh, you know, um, every time y'all around, I'm, I'm here. I'm for you guys. I'm with you guys.

[13:44] Speaker 2: I'm here. I'm rolling with you guys. Look, I'm, I'm, I'm... I'm on the road now, but I'm, I'm here. I show up for you guys because I- I have that same love that you guys give to me, um, you know, no matter what. And I, and I thank you, guys. I thank you that you extended out to me, my family. I appreciate that. Uh, I, I, I appreciate that, um, all, all together. Um, you know, y-... I cannot express it. And I'm, and I'm so happy, like I said, the other two families that I've met. There's probably many more that I've met. And you know what? Let... I wanna do this. I wanna find out who's meeting, who's talking, who's meeting from the, the, the Talking With the Rons show, who's meeting a family, who's meeting another person, uh, who's meeting, um, each other, families meeting across, all across. And, and, and I wanna know. Y'all, y'all, y'all let me know, um, let me know on social media, um, tell us, um, talk to us, talk to us on, on, on this platform.

[14:37] Speaker 2: Let us know who you're meeting, um, how y'all getting together, and, and how this show is making a difference to you guys, uh, meeting good, great people. I-I like to know that, that. That's what this show platform, like I say all the time, day in, day out, was built on. You know, the numbers keep growing. I don't know what the numbers are right now. But I know of last week, we were at three million. And that says something. That says something. And there's three million that believe in what we believe in. There's three million that love what we're doing. And I love that. And that's, and that's three million. And all I want that three million to do is touch another three million. That's all I want 'em to do, is touch another three million. And let's, let's, let's make it further. Let's go further. You know, let's keep this movement going. Um, clear... Clearly, it's working. Clearly, people agree with it, um, because if not, we wouldn't be here. Uh, we would not be here.

[15:25] Speaker 2: We're here because you guys agree, you guys love it, uh, you guys share it, and that's the great part about all of this. Um, that's the thing that we love, that you guys share this, you do this, you know, and, and, and you wanna do this, you know. And, and that, that just goes to show there's still great people out there in the world. There's still great people that wanna do this. Man, listen, I can't tell y'all. I can't tell y'all, um, how many people out there have, um, podcasts and radios and, and, and, and stuff like that, but they're not doing it like us, you know. It seems like everybody wanna talk now, but they're not doing it like us, um, but we're doing it, we're doing it one certain way, and, and that is family. Uh, family and friends. And, and I don't really wanna say friends 'cause we don't... we're not friends. We're family. Um, we're all family, um. It doesn't matter who you are, we're all family.

[16:14] Speaker 2: And I think this show, uh, exemplifies that because of the simple fact that all the time, even our guests, we have a large amount of people, uh, of all races listening, tuning into this show, week in, week out. Um, and, and so much they've been asking, uh, we need to, we need to move up some more days. So (laughs) I, I don't know about that. We're gonna see, uh, how the schedule permits and, and, and work with the other people and do that, and we'll see if we can do that. But yeah, we- we've been asked that before, like, "Can y'all move up a little few more days," um, you know. Um, and I, and I heard one lady say, you know, "I, I, I, I listen to you on, on Thursdays in the afternoon when I'm at home preparing dinner." Uh, I appreciate that. I appreciate that because you could be doing anything else anywhere else, but you're doing, you're doing dinner at home, and that's a great feel.

[17:02] Speaker 2: That's a great thing when you're at home cooking, sharing with your family, and you tuning into us, and having your family tune in to us. Um, listen, I, I cannot appreciate it... Tonight, we're on the way now. Um, we're, we're en route, um, to, to, to the venue, uh, The Big Comedy Show. We are going there, uh, to, to The Big Comedy Show. We're looking forward to that. Listen, if you guys a-are scheduled to come or coming to the show, listen, come on out. Come on, enjoy, uh, say hi. Um, come on, we love to see you. Um, we love to take a picture. We love to say hi because always meeting and, and, and seeing my family is great. And when I say my family, you guys is great, um, to do that. You know, I, I, I thought about something, and when I say about family all the time, and I thought about something. You know, sometime family can be, uh, just like the two families met, um, across th- the water. Uh, family can be anyone. It doesn't necessarily have to be blood.

[17:59] Speaker 2: Um, family can be just somebody who shares the same thought process, mind like you. That could be family. Uh, family can be someone who, um, you know, shares, uh, you know, their family with your family and help your family. That's family. Sometime the, the, the... as they al- as they always say, blood is thicker than water, but not so much always. Uh, sometime water gets a, a, a little bit... more wavier than, than, than blood sometimes. So, you know, your family is the people who share with you, love you, care for you, and it doesn't necessarily have to mean your blood family. Um, you know, sometime the people who are, are blood family, um, don't wish the best for you. And you have to move on. You keep 'em, you keep 'em, you know, in your prayers and you wish them the best, but you, you have to move on. 'Cause sometime those people are the people who, uh, are, are jealous and envy the most, um, and, and don't wanna see you win.

[18:53] Speaker 2: Um, you know, sometime it's more people on the outside and strangers, uh, that wanna see you win the most. And I know, you know, I, I've had that experience too. Um, you know, I'm, I'm not exempt from it. I've, I've had that experience where, um, there, there have been family members, um, doesn't, don't, didn't support, um, me or what I was doing. Um, but I've had the overwhelming support of other people and outside people. So, sometime, you know, not all the time, um, family can, can be, um... And, and that's why I say all the time, you're my family. Even though I have my regular family, it's great to have family, um, outside that, that truly loves and cares for you. Um, you know, and you people, um, my family, you guys on this, uh, radio and TV network, y'all don't play about me. And I, and I appreciate that. I appreciate every single thing y'all do and say. And like I said, I was overwhelmed last week when, when, when I heard about, um...

[19:51] Speaker 2: Excuse me, this week earlier when Keisha said jumped online and, and you guys, uh, somebody said something, you guys jumped into effect. And hey, y'all went in. I didn't have to open my mouth. I didn't have to say a word. And I, and I appreciate that. I appreci- I appreciate that, truly. Um, I really do. So, you know, that's why I say sometime family is not, not the people that you see, um, you know, as in blood people or blood relatives. Sometime family is, is, is outside people, uh, who care and love you just as much. And that's what we do with this show. Um, you know, we're bringing people together. Y- you're my family, um, and, and even the people we've brought on the show. Um, as you can see, we, we don't have a color line. The people we brought on the show, uh, we only bring people on there to help, to move people. Um, everybody that's been on any of our, uh, shows have been people to share something or have something to share or a message, uh, to share.

[20:42] Speaker 2: Uh, now, jokingly, and please y'all don't give me, don't give me no slack behind this, don't come behind this. Uh, don't send no, don't send no messages and, and stuff like this behind this. W- I don't think we ready for the U- UFOs and we, we've gotten some people who wanna come on the show and talk about that. I don't think we ready for UFOs and, and, and the out-of-body experiences. I know people have those. I know they're out there. But I don't think we ready (laughs) r- right now on the Talk With Ron show for this. Not saying that it's not, uh, something that's not viable. I'm not saying that. I'm just saying, you know, I don't think we ready for that. (laughs) Maybe we are. If y'all, y'all truly say that and say you want that, then maybe we are. But I, I'm just saying, I, I didn't think we, we were ready for, uh, um, the, the, the, the (laughs) the, the, uh, out-of-body experience they were saying and the UFOs and, and, and those type of things. But maybe, maybe they are.

[21:35] Speaker 2: Y'all, y'all let me know, but I'm not saying there's nothing wrong with that. Um, whatever you believe in and whatever you do is, is what you believe in and what you do. So, there's nothing wrong, uh, with that at all. At all. We don't have a problem with that. Um, you know, listen, um, like I said tonight, um, he, he, he's supposed to be on the show. He's, he's, he's in travel. Uh, great, great, great, great comedian, um, great, great comedian. Um, and he's supposed to be on the show, but he's in travel. Uh, talked to him earlier, like I said, so we don't know, but if, if we can't get him on today, uh, we'll, we'll get him on, um, uh, next week or week after next. I think the schedule's really booked for the show. But we'll get him on. We'll get him, we'll get him, we'll get him on. And, and also, uh, you know, we'll, we'll take some pictures and we'll have some pictures posted, um, we'll have some pictures posted for you guys to see, um, just little, little clips of it.

[22:26] Speaker 2: But if you are in the area, come out, um, join us, be out, have a good time, uh, come out, say hi. You know, we love touching and talking to you guys, 'cause family's family, no matter where we are. We always say that. Um, so no, we, we would love to have you guys out, um, if you can tonight. I, I think the show is almost, if not sold out, uh, but that's okay. Uh, hey, just, just, hey, come out. Uh, I don't know the, the exact place. I think it's, um, uh, in Arlington somewhere, but just come out. Hey, I think they got other places you can be around that area. But, uh, the big show tonight, uh, the big, the big show, uh, tonight. Um, so yeah. So, you know, um, uh, I, I, I just got a message from him. So he, he, he just arrived, uh, um, he just arrived, uh, so, and he, he has to be out, um, for a little while to, to head to the venue himself. So look, we fully understand that. Um, we'll, we'll get him back on another time, 'cause we've been traveling and, and running ourselves.

[23:26] Speaker 2: So, we understand that. We understand that. Um, I wanted to talk about, um, the, the... and I, I don't get too much into this. Uh, but I think I wanna just say this to the great people, uh, working, um, hard. Uh, it's a shame in this country we're doing this and, and we don't have funds and stuff set aside for these people. But I wanna say, uh, hats off, salutes to the TSA people, uh, around, um, the United States doing a great job, um, without pay. 'Cause I know many of us, we would not be willing to go to a job and still do that job... without being paid and don't know when you're gonna get paid and don't know when you, when you, when your bill's going to be paid. Uh, and I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm sure we have, um, some TSA listeners, uh, out there. And I just wanna say, hats off to you guys. Um, you're doing a great job, um, in, in, in this type of situation.

[24:21] Speaker 2: If you are around, uh, if you are around and you have something to spare, family and you-- 'cause I'm sure we have, uh, some TSA listeners. If you are around, um, and, and you, you're at the airport or somewhere and you can share something with these people, um, share something with them. Um, it doesn't matter what it is. Um, it doesn't matter 'cause, you know, y- y- what you think is small to you is big for someone else. And, and that, that, that's what matters. Uh, it may seem like it. It's a little, you know, nothing. I always say one dollar goes a long way. So if you can share that with somebody or bless somebody, um, do it. It goes a long way because a dollar is nothing to you, but it is something to someone else. Um, you know, I've traveled and I've, uh, seen other countries and, you know, the stuff we take for granted and the food that we throw out, people would love to have that with a heartbeat. They would love to have that.

[25:11] Speaker 2: Just that, just that little bit that we take for granted. We full. We don't, you know, we don't want it. We waste it. We throw it. They would love to have that. And, and that goes the same for here in the United States. Um, you know, there's someone, there's always someone off, uh, not as fortunate as us or may not have what we have. Uh, if you're blessed or, or you're in a position to help someone, um, help them. Um, sometime your greatest gift is when you help someone else. Um, your blessing comes through other people, you know. If, if you're out there, I'm not telling you what to do and I, and I'm not saying what to give. I'm just saying if you can give. Now, with that being said, let me say this. Uh, subscribe to this show, people. Go onto, uh, BBS, uh, Radio and TV Network, and subscribe to this show. You don't have to do it on all the other platforms. You don't have to do it on, um, iHeart. But go to... And I think there's a link somewhere, um, on there.

[26:05] Speaker 2: You can subscribe to Talking with Ron. We want y'all to do that. Uh, you can subscribe as little as, I think it... Don't quote me on this, but I think it's 2.99. Um, you can, you can subscribe to, uh, Talking with Ron. And remember, when, when you, when you're doing it with us, uh, we share and show where, where everything goes, where, where the money goes. Um, we, we share and we show where it goes, and it, and it shows. It goes to help people Um, now, uh, we're, we're looking, um, we're, we're just, we just have this started idea. We're looking at the fact that we want to try to, um, see if we can get together and, um, see if we can get together and get, um, see if we can get together and get the, uh, some... We'll see if we can get some families, one or two families, uh, sponsored, uh, to come down, uh, as a, as a guest host of the show. So we're looking to try to do that. Uh, we wanna do that.

[26:57] Speaker 2: And if we can, um, some of our sponsors may wanna come in on that or help on that or whatever the case may be. Uh, we're looking, we wanna do that. We wanna share that. We're looking to do that. So if you can, um, you know, if you're in a position to help someone else, family to come down, uh, contact us, uh, on the, on this show, uh, at the 1-800 number or you can contact us at the 765-205-1057 number. Um, contact us an- if you wanna help or contribute, uh, to bring a family down that may be less fortunate. Listen, we check people out thoroughly so it won't be somebody that's, that's saying they don't or can't come or wanna come and, and don't have and, and, and do have. We'll, we'll check him out thoroughly. Um, so, so it, it will be going to someone who really needs it or, or, or need it. Um, again, you can, you can contribute in any way you can.

[27:49] Speaker 2: We don't ask for people, um, to contribute 'cause we share and show where it's going So you can do, uh, any kinda way you can, the 765-205-1057, the 1-800 number, um, and, and share. Let's, let's, let's keep this big thing going. But now what I want y'all to do the most, and I say this day in, day, day, day in and day out, week in, uh, week out, um, share this show. Um, share this show. Um, share this show. Tell some more of your family and friends. Share this show because we want this message to keep going. We want this message. And the message is very simple. It's great people getting together, enjoying each other, meeting each other on this platform, follow this platform wherever we are, um, and, and we're just meeting great, wholesome people. That's what it's about. Uh, we got some great things coming. We got some big things coming. Um, like I said, we have the wine, uh, exclusive wine if, if that is your thing.

[28:43] Speaker 2: You know, wine's supposed to be healthy so we giving y'all a little health too. Uh, we have that coming out, uh, later this year. Uh, think it'd be more toward the end of this year. Uh, we have the Visa cards coming out. Um, so when you support us, you don't just support us. You support a, a slew of people, um, and, and, and our movement of where we going and what we're doing. So you're not just supporting one of us. You're supporting, uh, like I said, a movement, uh, a movement of us And, and you can do that, um, and contribute any way you want. Um, but we want y'all to get these Visa cards. And I shouldn't say that because y'all been asking about them. Man, y'all been asking about them. They're coming, they're coming, they're coming. It's not me. It's not nobody that's associated with me. Uh, it is, it is the people. It's, it is the people. It is the people, uh, on, on, on, on there. Um, so, uh, it is the people with, with Visa and all of them in there doing it.

[29:36] Speaker 2: Um, so we, we, uh, definitely want you guys on there w- a- and (laughs) I just got a message from my... Uh, the comedian's trying to come on, um. He's, he's saying something about the Zoom link is, is, is not working. So I don't know. We gotta get him on, um, some kind of way. Uh, I don't know the numbers, um, to it, but we gotta try to get him on. Get him on. Uh... So we're gonna get him on. Uh, if, if... We're gonna get him, we're gonna get him on. UmSo, uh, uh, do we have him or did he come on? Did, did we get that straight? D- did we get the, uh, did we get him on? Okay. So, so, we haven't got him on. Uh, I, I know he just sent me a message, uh, with the meeting, um, thing, uh, I don't, I don't know how to, how else to put him, uh, on, on here. Uh, how, how we can get him on. Uh, we need to get him on, uh, (laughs) so I don't know how, how, how to get him, how to get him on, um, on, on here, um, right now. We... I think there's a... he's having a little difficulty.

[30:51] Speaker 2: Um, um, so w- we have a little difficulty, uh... So listen, just give us... we're gonna take a quick little break. Um, we're gonna take a quick little break, something we usually don't do, but we're gonna try to work it out. We'll be right back shortly. Uh, we're gonna take a quick little break. Hey, everybody. We back. Sorry about that. We've never done that, but we, we, we had some technical difficulties. We just had to try to, uh, work out. We are traveling, so forgive us. Uh, we're, we're, we're in a actual literal vehicle, so we're traveling, but we got it worked out a little bit, um, and hopefully we'll be able to get, um, Comedian Grossman on too, um, here shortly. We- we're all traveling, so it's, it's, it's a, it's a technical difficulty thing right now. Usually we're (laughs) , you know, we're stabilized, we're in studios. Y'all know how we do. But there's, we, we, we apologize, uh, for this. Um, you know, sometimes things happen. This is the first for us. But it's okay.

[31:47] Speaker 2: It's okay. We still moving. We're still good. Uh, we're still on the way to have a good time. Um, and if you're in the building, hey, come by and say hi, like I said. Uh, let us know, um, what y'all doing, what y'all plans are, and, and just come by and say hi. We understand, and like I said, the show is, um, I think sold out, so you, you can't get that part of it, but listen, hey, we'd love to just have you in, in the vicinity. There are other things to do. Just come by and say hi. Uh, if you're in the area, we would love that. Um, you know, we would love that. We would love that. But listen, I, I... once again, I wanna say thank you guys so much. I cannot say it a million times because you guys have made this show what it is. Um, you've made, uh, the success of this show what it is. Um, you, you saw our vision and our idea and you took it, you ran with it, you shared with it, and we love that. We thank you so much. We cannot say no more about that.

[32:36] Speaker 2: We started this thing off with an idea and it grew, um, three million and growing and global. Um, we went from just local, uh, to global. Um, uh, nationally syndicated. So we appreciate that. We truly appreciate it. Uh, we take none of this for granted. We thank God, we thank you guys. Um, we know neither one would be possible without the other. Um, so we thank you guys for that. Uh, we, we do, we do, we do, we do. So, but, we can't say, we can't say more about it. Um, and, and, and I thank you guys for every, every single thing. I- I'm so excited that y'all excited about the Visa cards. I'm excited about the Visa cards. I'm... I got mine. I don't have it. I'm... wait, before y'all say anything, I, I don't have it literally in my hands, but I got mine sent too, and, and I'm gonna show y'all mine when it, when it comes, um. But I- I have mine and I'm excited about it. I'm excited about getting mine. Um, I'm excited about getting mine and having mine. Um, I'm excited about having mine.

[33:40] Speaker 2: I'm excited about having mine. I'm excited about having mine too. Um, then... and, and then, and then, again, and like I'm saying too, so you got your Visa card, you got your wine, uh, a- and, and then, you know, we got something else exclusive coming. We got something else exclusive coming, so, uh, we, you know, we wanna see what's, what's going on with, with, with that part of it too. (laughs) Uh, we have something else exclusive coming, uh, a- and so we're... but all of this, um, a lot of stuff of what we do, uh, uh, a lot of stuff of what we do I- is, is great, um, you know, and, and, and, and what we do, we, we take what we, we build off of and we help other people. So you're not just giving or supporting the Talking With Ron show, you're supporting other people because we give and we share. Uh, we'll... hopefully we'll have, um, Comedian Grossman on shortly.

[34:33] Speaker 2: Um, I think, I think they've worked out his technical difficulties and I think we'll have him on, uh, very shortly, um, o- on the show. So when he, when he comes on, we'll, we'll be ready. Um, but hopefully he'll be on, hopefully he'll be on, uh, very shortly. Hopefully he'll be on very shortly. So, um, but yeah. So we, but we, we look forward, uh, to everybody that... and we got s- I, uh, and something else I wanna say, we got some great guests coming up. Um, we got some great guests. The guys were scheduled. When I say the guys, New Edition were scheduled to be on, um, on, you know, before we moved to this great network where we are now, uh, with iHeart, but we are, we are in talks of working that back out. As y'all know, they're on tour right now, so it's kinda hard to narrow 'em all down at one time with so much going on. But we will have them on, I assure you that. We will have them on and we look forward to having them on.

[35:28] Speaker 2: Um, but listen, another thing I want to share with you guys is, um, leave people... and I say this often on my show, leave people alone. Let people live their lives. Uh, it doesn't matter, we all make mistakes. Let people live their lives how they want. Um, it's their lives. If you're not hurting nobody, let people live their lives. They deserve to live their lives. Um, you know, and I say that often, um, because a lot of people want to interfere and have interference. Let people live their lives. Let people be who they are, uh, period. You know? And that's part of why our platform is, is so strong. Um, we believe in that. It doesn't matter who you are. Let people... if you're not hurting someone, let people live their lives. They're entitled... it's their lives. Uh, so leave people alone. And anyway, I've never met anyone that tries to be little, talk about, uh, uh, down... downgrade somebody, get anything out of that, period. At all. But listen, I think we finally got him.

[36:29] Speaker 2: Uh, we finally got him on, you guys. I think Comedian Grossman, are you there, sir?

[36:34] Speaker 3: What's happening, out there

[36:36] Speaker 1: back on the line.

[36:37] Speaker 2: (laughs) My man. Sir i- i- i- it's a pleasure to have you. We've been working, we've been working hard to get you on, man. A- and I told the people you're traveling, but listen, we're glad to have you on, man. I know you got a, a half of a minute. Uh, tell the people what you got going on, man.

[36:54] Speaker 3: Uh, man, you know, I'm in Dallas, uh, tonight at the Improv in Arlington. And man, I've been in this traffic, uh, for, uh, two hours.

[37:04] Speaker 2: Two hours-

[37:04] Speaker 3: And man-

[37:05] Speaker 2: ... in the traffic?

[37:06] Speaker 3: You know what I mean? Man, I tell you something-

[37:08] Speaker 2: Come on, come on Dallas.

[37:11] Speaker 3: ... I don't know what's going on, man. Why everybody trying to move to the South, but hey, man, stay where y'all at.

[37:18] Speaker 2: (laughs) Comedian Grossman-

[37:20] Speaker 3: I'm sitting here wide awake, man. Y'all give us two lanes?

[37:24] Speaker 2: Comedian Gross, you've been touring, man. Uh, uh, y- you, you've been touring, um, the country, man. You've been doing some big, big things, man. You wanna share with the people, uh, um, what you've been doing?

[37:36] Speaker 3: Yes, I did. I have big things going on. Yeah, I got a show coming out. It's called, uh, Can You Make Me Laugh? And then I got another show coming out, So You Think You Funny. So that one's coming on Amazon and Tubi in May. So check out the one, So You Think You Funny, and I'm hosting that. And also, um, I just did a movie called Double Cup, and then also, uh, uh, Dirty Third: The Next Generation with Clifford Paul.

[38:02] Speaker 2: Oh, wow.

[38:02] Speaker 3: And, uh, yeah, yeah, yeah. So then also I got a, uh, comedy spot I have up in Beaumont, Texas. Anybody between Houston and Beaumont, I'm in Beaumont. So yeah, man, I got, I got some things popping off, man. It's, it's going, it's going nice right now. So I'm doing pretty good on, uh, what I got going on right now.

[38:21] Speaker 2: Listen, listen, in case y'all, this, this, uh, great friend, uh, great friend of mine, man, always. We get together, we have a blast, uh, we do business together. I cannot say it as always, great, great, super, super great guy. Man, super, super funny. Um, whenever he's in your town, whenever he's out, support him. Support him, support him, support him. Uh, he gonna make you laugh, I guarantee you that now. He's gonna make you laugh, but, uh, he gonna have you falling out your chair. He do that over and over and over and time and time again. Uh, tonight, he's in Dallas, uh, at the Improv. Come out, man. I think the show, I think the show's almost sold out, huh? If not sold out, right?

[38:58] Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, it's almost sold out, man. So yeah, thank God for that. We almost sold out and, uh, it's gonna be, it's gonna be a wild night tonight, man. It's, uh, spring break weekend and people are out having a good time, man. They ain't got no kids to take to school in the morning-

[39:13] Speaker 2: Yes, sir.

[39:13] Speaker 3: ... and they coming outside.

[39:15] Speaker 2: Yes, sir. Yes, sir. And I, listen, I, I promise y'all, uh, you, you're gonna, you're gonna have a good time, you're gonna laugh. Uh, you, you're gonna laugh. I'm, I'm trying to beat him to the, to the venue myself. I'm on my way too. Uh, you're gonna laugh, man. Come check him out tonight at the Improv. He's funny. But the brother's traveling the country. He's doing big, big things, like he said. Uh, I cannot tell you... We gotta have him on, on a full show with us. You gotta come sit with us, uh, on this, on this show, man. You know, since we've been, since we've went global, man. You ain't, you ain't been around, you've been busy. But we gotta have him on, uh, we gotta have him on soon. We know he gotta run, but we gotta have him on soon, man. We appreciate you always coming and, and showing the love. But we gotta have you back on. But real quick, tell the people where they can find you, uh, and, and, and those things, those things you got going out to, to be supported.

[40:03] Speaker 3: Yes, sir. So listen, man. Y'all follow me, man. Comedian Grossman on everything. Facebook, uh, Comedian Grossman on Instagram, and also YouTube, Comedian Grossman. Also, uh, I got one called Grossman Uncut on, uh, YouTube. I'm starting to put all my comedy on, on Grossman Uncut. So I'm building that site up right now. So you just better go to that and watch me, man, and have a good time, man. Grossman Uncut.

[40:31] Speaker 2: Yes, man, go to it. Grossman Uncut, on YouTube.

[40:34] Speaker 3: Yeah. Grossman. And Ron won't be there long. He'll fall asleep, he coming.

[40:40] Speaker 2: (laughs) Look, man. Y'all can't be keeping me out like that no more. I, I ain't made for them, them, them days no more. Them, them, them Cash Money New Edition days over, man. I ain't built like that no more. (laughs)

[40:51] Speaker 3: Hey, we were at a... Hey, we were at a show at the, uh, at the theater right here in Dallas, Texas, about three weeks ago, three or four weeks ago. And I had Ron and I all night long, and he's... I picked the perfect spot for us to do our little VIP, I look up, Ron was sleep.

[41:10] Speaker 2: (laughs) Hey, man. Hey, you ain't supposed to, you ain't supposed to tell them people that. My, my listeners understand. Look, I got a family show here, man. They, they understand that you gotta get your rest, man, to keep your body moving. You gotta get your rest, man. So they understood that. I didn't know you was gonna put me out there on Front Street on that one, but that's all right. My man. But we gonna have a great time tonight. Huh?

[41:32] Speaker 3: Daniel says you got a chance to sleep and I didn't. I said, "Well, I'm happy."

[41:37] Speaker 2: (laughs)

[41:37] Speaker 3: He's like, you gotta... I mean, it's just like boom, ooh, that looks, that looks so good, the way he's doing right now, I wanna see that too. Oh my God, I wanna go to sleep.

[41:47] Speaker 2: And listen, let me tell y'all something. He, Grossman is not a, a, a, a comedian... Grossman is not a run of the, o- o- old run of the mill comedian, man. This man has been on, on tour with some of the best of them. Uh, I can give you just a few right off the top. Rickey Smiley, uh, uh, Bruce Bruce, and, and, and, and that's just to name a few. I don't wanna go down this whole list. So you ain't talking about a run of the mill, uh, uh, uh, comedian. And his brother's getting his due just he's been in this game a long time. He's getting his due just, he's doing it, um, he's doing it and he deserve it. So my, all my followers, people, listeners, uh, three million plus, y'all support him, uh, wherever he is, wherever you see him, uh, all his specials that he's got coming out, that's going on. Support him, come out, uh, you, you won't be sorry. He gonna give you a laugh, um, but you won't be sorry.Brother, I appreciate it. I know you gotta run. I'm gonna see you soon.

[42:37] Speaker 2: Uh, but I appreciate you. We gonna get you back on, man, when, when you got more time. We know you was in travel today, and you got stuck up and caught up. But listen, we still gonna have a good time tonight. They, they got five tickets left. So y'all gotta go get them tickets tonight. They got five left. It's worth it.

[42:53] Speaker 3: Go get 'em, y'all. I'm in the building.

[42:55] Speaker 2: Go, go get 'em. He, he will be in the building shortly. Uh, so y'all come on. Have a good time and show out. Man, I appreciate you always coming on this show. Showing love, man. And, and, and, and once again, let the people know how they can get in touch with, uh, you, and even for bookings. Let them know how they can get in touch with you on the sh- um, uh, the booking.

[43:14] Speaker 3: Also, yeah. Just, if you... Yeah, I'm bookable, put it like that. I travel, and I, and I give you a reasonable price. You know what I'm saying? But I'm gonna bring the funny, and, and the price is not gonna compare to how... what I'm gonna bring to the table. So you can book me. Uh, just hit me up as Comedian Grossman on Instagram, and, and leave your message in my DM.

[43:36] Speaker 2: Yes, sir.

[43:36] Speaker 3: And my phone number is on there with me. You'll see my phone number, and then my number.

[43:38] Speaker 2: Yes, sir. Yes, sir. And listen, y'all. He will sell you, he will sell you. Show out, I'm telling you. He will sell you. Show out, a-and, and if y- if, if, if, if your, if your paper right, your money right, hey, he got some more people you can bring with him that, that's, that's super talented too. So hey, y'all can have a good time, and, and, and make you some money. He that promoter, so check him out. Go to it. He's no ren-... no ordinary, ordinary brother. He's on.
