Guest Biography:

STAN GOFF grew up in a staunchly conservative, anti-communist family. In 1970, he joined the Army. Goff retired in 1996 as a Special Forces Master Sergeant. During his tenure, he was sent to Vietnam, Haiti, Panama, Colombia, and Somalia, participating in several different military attachments. Goff would later write that his time spent in Latin America shifted his politics to the left. His experiences, particularly in Haiti, are recounted in his 2000 book, Hideous Dream: A Soldier’s Memoir of the US Invasion of Haiti.

In between stints in the military, Goff studied literature and philosophy at Garland Community College, Henderson State College, and the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Soon after retirement, Goff began a career in activism, studying Marxism and briefly joining the Communist Party USA.

After the September 11, 2001 attacks, Goff became active as a speaker against an invasion of Iraq. His status as a veteran gave him credence and popularity with anti-war activists. In 2003, Goff wrote “Bring ‘Em On?” for the online journal Counterpunch. It was a response to the taunting phrase “Bring ‘em on!” uttered by President Bush regarding Iraqi guerrillas.  In the article, Goff compared the Iraq war to his experience in Vietnam. He wrote of being told by a fellow veteran that “All Vietnamese were the enemy…this was a race war. Within one month, it was apparent that everything he told me was true, and that every reason that was given to the American Public for the war was not true.” He ended by stating that President Bush’s “legitimacy has been eroded as even the mainstream press has discovered that the pretext for the war was a lie. It may have been control over the oil, after all.”

The popularity of this article led to the formation, with other veterans and activists, of the organization Bring Them Home Now.

His 2004 book, Full Spectrum Disorder: The Military in the New American Century, critiques US foreign policy. According to the publisher, Goff “depicts the new ‘American Empire’ as over-reliant on technology, ignorant of the lessons of history, and backward in the stereotyping of other countries.”

Goff began studying and writing about feminism, particularly how it relates to war. This re-examination is brought together in his article “Sex and War”, where he argues that war is not an instinct of man, but rather, “men are made into killers by governments, corporations, and systems of power.” His latest book is a compilation of essays called Energy War.

Astrologer, Psychic, Reiki Master, Tarot and Tuning Fork Vibrational Specialist- LeeAnn Cornell

Reverend Lee Ann Cornell is a co-founder of the Pyramid of Enlightenment and has been involved in the studies of Metaphysics for 50 years. She can remember, at a very early age, standing up in her crib, as she watched spirits and balls of light moving around in her bedroom. Lee Ann would call out for her mother, to come and see what was going on in her room. Her mother would say that this was just her imagination and needed to be quiet and go to sleep. A majority of people, during that time period, were not educated or open minded to things of a mystical nature. Much later in life her mother did confess to her that she had an imaginary playmate as a child; however, she did not know how to handle it when her own daughter started seeing spirits and angels.

During her teenage years, Lee Ann began to have premonitions and dreams that would come true. She became very curious and began to read paranormal books. In her early 20's she began to connect with people of like mind and began her life-long Metaphysical journey. Lee Ann Cornell and Rita Williams helped to organize a Metaphysical study group when she lived in Muncie, Indiana in the 70's. People would gather at her house weekly to study many things; such as, Ancient Mysteries, Astrology, Astral Projections, Aura Reading, Extrasensory Techniques, I Ching, Kabbalah, Meditation, Numerology, Palmistry, Psychometry, Rune Stones, Tarot and Spirit Communication, etc.

Lee Ann moved to Indianapolis and continued to do professional psychic readings and met her friend, Don Hughes, through Rita Williams. Rita and Lee Ann realized that Don Hughes had psychic abilities. Then they began training Don Hughes metaphysically and how to do readings. Don and Lee Ann traveled throughout the state of Indiana doing psychic readings at bookstores, corporate events and large psychic parties. They made their first guest appearances at WZPL on Dave McKay's Morning Show in 1991 and continued appearing every Friday for a year. Lee Ann and Don were on many major radio and TV networks throughout the state of Indiana. In March of 1992, Don Hughes, Lee Ann Cornell, Rita Williams jointly founded the Pyramid of Enlightenment.

Lee Ann had the privilege of studying, with a Metaphysician by the name of Dr. Paul. He was acquainted with many prominent individuals that were known for their metaphysical expertise in the 30's, 40's and 50's. She had the privilege of studying more about Aura Balancing, Crystals, Kabbalah and Metaphysics with Reverend Byron Edwards. Lee Ann studied Reiki and became a USUI lineage certified Reiki Master. Lee Ann teaches a wide variety of classes at the Pyramid and privately. Most recently Lee Ann has been blessed to attend Tuning Fork workshops presented by developer of SomaEnergetics David Hulse, C.M.S.T.T.. These workshops have been a turning point for Lee Ann. She has always wanted to work with people to help them find healing through music and sound. She feels the tuning forks are the keys to help her accomplish this life-long dream.

Lee Ann is  a retired case manager from Family and Social Services. Lee Ann is an ordained minister through World Christianship Ministries. She loves teaching others as they work to evolve on their own spiritual journeys. She draws upon the divine guidance of the angelic and spirit realms. She uses this energy in her work as a spiritual healer and psychic; in which, she views herself as  a vessel for this energy to manifest. Lee Ann feels like the angelic realm is more prevalent since she has been working with the tuning forks. Lee Ann realizes how sound and vibrations are important to raise the energies. She created a CD called the Light Workers Chant. This musical chant has helped to banish negative spirits and energies. She has worked to help people bless and cleanse their homes of negative energies. The chant has been an invaluable tool for a lot of customers.

“Suns of the Earth’s music fills you, floods you with sustenance and good vibrations, vital life source to keep you going… it’s not just music it’s medicine, mantras for harmony”
-THE EXAMINER

Suns of the Earth are singing a rallying call to the global village to join together in community, celebration, and to take action in the world from a place of love and Earth guardianship. Their music is all tuned and recorded at A 432 hertz -aligned to the natural harmonic frequency of Planet Earth- creating a unique resonance with the listener rather than the industry standard A 440. Their energy and charisma is reminiscent of the Beatles meets modern day Matisyahu meets Nakho and Medicine for the People.  One of the few up & coming bands out there using the full strength of their male voices in chorus harmony, their passionate soundscape reveals Alok Ananda’s lyrically powerful verses that flow effortlessly between a Jim Morrison or hip hop style delivery. Sun’s sound is anchored by Eila Scott’s shining acoustic guitars and driven by Duke’s strong worldy percussion and reggae tinged baselines.

GUEST: GIADA VALENTI

Born and raised in Venice, Italy, Giada Valenti started to sing and play piano at the age of seven. She began touring professionally with a band by age twelve. She studied piano and music theory at the Santa Cecilia music school in Venice and received her music degree at the G. Tartini in Trieste. She also studied jazz with American singer Dawn Mitchell.

In Italy she has won several important music awards like the prestigious La Grande Occasione and Festival di Castrocaro. While she was studying psychology at the University of Padova, she met the love of her life and moved to The Netherlands. She participated in the song contest San Remo New Talents in the World, a contest held annually for Italians living abroad and won with her pop ballad Solo Con Te (Only With You). This led her to a record contract with BMG Ariola in Europe and she had several hits in the charts. One of her songs was even used in a radio and television commercial for Piaggio-Vespa scooters.

When in 2004 her music got serious interest from a major record label in New York she decided to move to the United States. In December 2005, her self-released CD Italian Signorina was launched in the USA to great reviews. Italian Signorina featured the song Caruso that she performed on the red carpet at the Columbus Day Parade in 2005, 2006, and 2007 in New York City, broadcast every year live on NBC Television. She has been featured in the editions of this prestigious Parade in New York City, which is broadcast every year live on ABC Television, every year ever since.
