Artist, author Jerry Wennstrom was born in New York on January 13, 1950. He attended Rockland Community College and the State University of New Paltz. After producing a large body of work, at age 29 he set out to discover the rock-bottom truth of his life. For years he questioned the limits of his creative life as a studio painter. After destroying all of his art and giving away everything he owned, Jerry began a life of unconditional trust, allowing life to provide all that was needed. He lived this way for 15 years. In 1998 he moved to Washington State, where he eventually married Marilyn Strong and produced a large new body of art. Marilyn and Jerry’s charming Whidbey Island home is now filled with his unique interactive sculptures and paintings. Jerry also built a 40-foot meditation tower on his property, which is featured along with his story in a book by Laura Chester called Holy Personal.

The speech was held at a conference organized by the Public Banking Institute in Philadelphia. That video, which during the first week was seen by 65,000 people and up to the beginning of september 2012 has been viewed about 700,000 times (in its English version), has also been translations into several languages, such as Spanish, German and Italian. Courtney Brown is a mathematician and social scientist who teaches in the Department of Political Science at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Independent of his work at the university, he is also the leading scholar on the subject of "remote viewing" as it is done using procedures that were developed by the United States military and used for espionage purposes, or procedures that are derivative of those methodologies.

Lani Leary, Ph.D. specializes in work with chronically ill, dying, and bereaved clients.  She has worked for the past 25 years as a psychotherapist in private practice, as a chaplain in the intensive care unit of a hospital, and as a counselor in 6 hospices across the country.

She served as the director of mental health services at an AIDS clinic, as a professor of Death Studies at George Mason University, and as a researcher at the National Cancer Institute of NIH.  Lani has spoken nationally at over 250 conferences including the American Holistic Medical Association, Virginia Association of Hospices, Spirituality and Healthcare, International Sudden Infant Death Symposium, and Omega Institute of Holistic Studies.

She is the author of Healing Hands, an internationally best-selling audio tape about therapeutic touch and complimentary approaches to pain management.  She is certified in grief therapy, EMDR, hypnotherapy, and Critical Incident Stress Management.

Her latest book, No One Has To Die Alone: Preparing for a Meaningful Death, was released in April 2012 by Simon & Schuster Publishing Co.
