Deep Brain Radio with Bill Schmalfeldt, we will focus on the actual reality of life after death, so to speak. Gail, my wife of more than 25 years, died June 17, 2015. I, on the other hand, did not. Therefore, like the song goes, “Life Goes On, Long After the Thrill of Living is Gone.”
I’ll talk to experts in the fields of neurology, alternative medicine, psychology, experts on grieving, and I’ll talk about the things I’ve learned about living alone. For instance, how a recent trip to a store made me realize all the stuff I need that I used to just assume were in the house because Gail bought them every payday and I didn’t have to worry about them. And we’ll have fun too as we discuss life and getting older from a humorous point of view.
I'm a 61-year old retired federal employee with three decades of experience in broadcasting and journalism. Recently widowed, I am living alone for the very first time in my life.
