Expression in percentages would render a more sober, realistic view.
Some things were cheaper, some things more expensive and other things didn't even exist.
Interesting would also be the average life span expectancy and the average level of personal health and how many people lived in rural areas, small towns and in congested urban areas.
Despite all the high tech fancy gadgets it could reveal that the quality of life for common people has declined within the last 6 decades.
The problem is, who has trustworthy statistics on this?
