Shameless Mps Censor Their Expenses

SHAMELESS MPs are set to defy public revulsion at their scandalous expenses by pocketing an astonishing £10,000-a-year pay rise.
Proposals for the 15 per cent rise, taking a backbencher’s annual pay to nearly £75,000, were put forward yesterday as the full extent of MPs’ attempts to conceal their milking of parliamentary allowances was revealed.
Huge black censorship marks obscured vast swathes of information on 1.2million claims submitted over the past four years which were published yesterday on Parliament’s website.
Critics claimed the cover-up was a deliberate attempt to hide widespread scams, tax avoidance and other abuses. And the anger was intensified by the pay rise proposal last night.
