commenter Phil asks rightfully "Has the New American become another neoconservative outpost of warmongering nonsense?"
"Posting warmongering nonsense?"
Its in fact USA and Israel who were/are neck deep in weapons delivery to regions of high tension, for example Colombia, Caucasian Georgia, Kurdistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia and many more.
Which country has the greatest military budget by far? Which country was involved in / started most wars and conflicts since 1945? Which country is in perpetual war against its neighbours? And so on and so forth.
You can't be serious?
"state sponsors of terrorism" - Has the New American become another neoconservative outpost of warmongering nonsense?
What exactly, practically, makes Iran, Venezuela, a state sponsor of terror? What exactly is referred here by 'Islamic terror'? Is expressing sovereignty now an act of terror? Is buying defense from outside the blood-soaked US sector now to be considered an 'act of terror'? Certainly Mr. Gomez wouldn't be insinuating with his flimsy use of terms that Iran is sponsoring Al Qaeda. We are aware, I hope, that Shia Iran has declared war on Sunni Al Qaeda - even offering interdiction on the US's behalf? If he's not insinuating - he should make that more clear.
I thought the New American was above all this - but this apparently falls (like a feather) into the JBS meme of Russia being behind Al Qaeda - even though the facts demonstrate clearly that we need look no further than our own nose to find the real source of this Hegelian circus.
Short sighted, eh?
