Christopher, 41, left a career in Investment Banking to set up Hands Up Holidays. It was on a trip to South Africa in 2002 where, in addition to enjoying safari and all that Cape Town has to offer, he also helped build a house for a family in a township. He found this to be incredibly enriching, adding a new dimension to travel experiences, and fantastic to be able to help people in need…so much so that he decided to set up a company that enabled others to enjoy luxury accommodation, explore a destination and give back to those in need. He runs Hands Up Holidays from London, with a 2nd office in California, offering luxury trips in over 40 countries around the world.
